About Hoikka Law
My Background
I’m a West Michigan native, originally from Mattawan. I earned my undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University and my law degree from Indiana University–Bloomington. I spent some time in Washington State and Upstate New York, where I worked for a mid-size estate planning firm. After seeing some things that worked and helped people — and some that didn’t — I wanted to build a practice that does things clearly and honestly. At Hoikka Law P.L.L.C., every client receives my full attention, expert advice, and a plan that truly fits their life — not a cookie-cutter template.
My Approach
When you work with me, you won’t be passed off to assistants or handed pre-filled forms. I meet with every client personally, explain each step of the process, and ensure you leave with a clear understanding of your documents.
